Are you an Account Manager who thrives at the intersection of client relationships, delivery excellence and commercial oversight? Do you have experience working with UK government clients or other highly regulated industries? SR2 is supporting a small consultancy who specialise in the heart of the UK government and defence sectors. As Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role across complex digital programmes, acting as the trusted link between clients and delivery teams. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you'll shape long-term client relationships while ensuring contracts, services and outcomes are delivered to an exceptional standard.

Role:- Build trusted client relationships across complex digital programmes, ensuring expectations are clear and consistently met.
- Oversee commercial and contractual performance, tracking KPIs, SLAs, budgets and delivery burn rate.
- Manage delivery risk, scope changes, resourcing challenges and escalation points.
- Lead governance and service reviews, providing clear reporting, insight and action tracking.
- Support contract and change control activities, including subcontract management.
- Drive continuous improvement, using stakeholder feedback to influence service and delivery enhancements.
- Contribute to bids and proposals, providing delivery insight, resourcing estimates and relationship intelligence.
- Maintain visibility of capability demand, supporting recruitment and internal coordination.
You’ll bring experience managing complex client relationships in commercial or contract-led environments, ideally within Defence, government or another regulated sector.
- Account, client, delivery or service management roles.
- Contract and commercial performance management.
- Coordinating delivery activity across multiple teams.
- Managing budgets, forecasts and financial reporting.
- Facilitating governance forums with senior stakeholders.
- Working with Agile and Waterfall delivery approaches.
- Eligible for SC clearance (RTW + 5 years living in UK).
