We're a fast‐growing deep‐tech startup building the next generation of safety assurance software for AI and autonomous systems. Our technology is deployed in aerospace and land domains, and we're on a mission to make autonomous systems trustworthy at scale.

Based in central London, we're looking for a Sharp QA & Test Engineer to join our engineering team and take ownership of verification and validation across our safety‐critical embedded software platform. Reporting to the CTO, you'll be embedded at the heart of our engineering function working across CI/CD pipelines, SIL/HIL testing, simulation environments, and compliance frameworks to ensure our software meets the highest safety standards.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Designing and executing test strategies and verification activities for safety‐critical embedded software.
  • Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, CloudBuild or similar).
  • Running Software‐in‐the‐Loop and Hardware‐in‐the‐Loop testing with automated deployment across multiple platforms.
  • Integrating performance testing across simulation environments (Gazebo, rosbag).
  • Static and dynamic code analysis using tools such as LDRA, VectorCAST, Rapid RVS, or Polyspace.
  • Supporting compliance with DO‐178C, ISO 26262, IEC 61508, and DEF STAN 0‐55.
  • Owning defect tracking, test documentation, and assurance evidence for internal and external reviews.
  • Collaborating with software, hardware, and systems engineers to ensure full requirements coverage.

What We're Looking For

  • Hands‐on embedded software QA/testing experience in a safety‐critical environment.
  • Experience with at least one CI/CD platform and infrastructure automation (Python, Bash).
  • Familiarity with test frameworks — pytest, gtest or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of safety standards (DO‐178C, ISO 26262, IEC 61508).
  • Solid understanding of Agile, TDD, and Continuous Integration methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
