15-Month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover) Bristol / Hybrid

The Opportunity:

We’re excited to be recruiting a Compliance & HR Administrator to join the Operations team at SR2 on a 15-month fixed-term contract, covering maternity leave. This role sits right at the heart of the business and is absolutely vital to keeping SR2 running smoothly. You’ll play a key part in ensuring our contractor workforce stays fully compliant, while also supporting the day-to-day HR administration that helps our internal team thrive. You’ll split your time roughly 60% Compliance and 40% HR Administration, working closely with the Head of Compliance, Head of Credit Management, and our Finance team to keep everything accurate, organised and on track.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Compliance (Approx. 60%)
    • Managing the compliance ticketing system and shared services inbox, including triaging, delegating and actioning contractor and client queries (alongside two other Compliance team members)
    • Running end-to-end contractor onboarding and compliance processes
    • Creating, issuing, tracking and maintaining all contractor documentation
    • Acting as a key point of contact for candidates and contractors, resolving compliance-related queries quickly and professionally
    • Setting up contractor timesheets and chasing client approvals
    • Ensuring every contractor starts their assignment with the correct documentation in place
    • Chasing internal consultants for new starters and raising sales invoices for permanent fees
    • Issuing Yoti e-sign delivery note receipts to clients for Clean Energy team sales invoicing
    • Supporting ad hoc business and operational tasks when needed
  • HR Administration (Approx. 40%)
    • Issuing weekly holiday and time-off reports and sending approval reminder emails to managers
    • Maintaining probation, promotion and leaver trackers
    • Managing sick leave reporting and communicating sick pay deductions to Finance
    • Issuing offer letters and contracts of employment
    • Sending probation outcome letters and notifying Finance of salary/benefit changes
    • Tracking employee benefits in kind data monthly for annual P11D preparation
    • Managing any resignation and termination documentation
    • Coordinating the removal of system access for leavers via our IT partner WestSpring
  • Office, Culture & Administration
    • Coordinating monthly Sales Team Lunch Clubs in Bristol and London
    • Working with Finance to organise the annual Sales Incentive Trip for top performers
    • Ordering stationery and managing general office administration for the offices
    • Acting as the main point of contact with WestSpring for company-wide IT or internet issues
  • Policies & External Support
    • Managing and updating HR policies in line with UK legislation via our external HR Advisor
    • Liaising with our external HR Advisor on ad hoc HR matters when required

What We’re Looking For:

  • Confident, organised and proactive

  • Previous compliance experience within contract recruitment (IT sector preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of IR35, AWR and GDPR
  • Experience using ticketing systems (Freshdesk or similar)
  • Experience using a cloud-based HR system (CharlieHR preferred)
