About the Role

SR2 are partnering with an enterprise client undergoing a large-scale CRM transformation and are seeking an experienced Lead Data Engineer to join the programme. This is a key position where you will play a central role in shaping the data architecture and introducing modern data engineering practices and tooling across the team. You’ll have the opportunity to influence technical direction, mentor team members, and drive best practices in a high-impact project environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable data solutions for CRM transformation
  • Introduce and champion modern data engineering tools and best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data, analytics, and engineering
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the wider data team
  • Ensure efficient data modelling, transformation, and pipeline development

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience with Snowflake
  • Hands-on experience with AWS
  • Proven capability with DBT (data build tool)
  • Solid programming skills in Python
  • Experience leading or mentoring data engineering teams
  • Exposure to large-scale or enterprise data transformation projects
