We're supporting a specialist digital consultancy delivering large-scale transformation programmes within highly secure government environments. They're looking for a Director of Technology to define technical strategy, shape architecture roadmaps and provide technical leadership across a complex software, data and platform portfolio supporting thousands of users.
Role:
- Setting technical direction and architecture strategy
- Leading technology investment and build vs buy decisions
- Driving modern engineering practices, cloud adoption and DevSecOps
- Championing AI, data and emerging technologies
- Providing technical governance, assurance and risk management
- Influencing senior Defence and government stakeholders
- Building high-performing engineering and architecture communities
Requirements:
- Experience leading technical strategy within Government, Defence, or other highly regulated environments
- Strong architecture and engineering leadership background
- Expertise across cloud, software delivery, platforms and data
- Experience with modern engineering practices and DevSecOps
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
