Senior Software Engineer | Golang, Node.js, TypeScript, React & AWS | Fully Remote (Southwest preferred) | Salary £60-70k
Would you like to join a fintech that’s taking the pain away from an entire sector of the finance industry?
This business was founded by someone with deep industry expertise and strong technical ability. They built the first version of their product for a handful of contacts who were crying out for this tech – it was an instant success. Since then, demand has surged, and they’ve now developed Version 2 and rolled it out to a much larger user base.
They’re now looking for a new Senior Engineer to join the team as they continue to scale. You’ll be an established Senior or a high-end Mid-Level Engineer who’s on the verge of stepping up, and you’ll be working across the full stack, ideally with a slight lean towards backend development.
Their stack includes Golang, Node.js, TypeScript, React and AWS — so you’ll need solid experience across these tools and the confidence to work flexibly across different areas of the product.
I know some of the founding team personally, and they’re genuinely brilliant people — this is an opportunity suited to someone who loves solving complex problems, enjoys variety, and is motivated by building technology that has a real impact on users.
What you’ll need
- Strong commercial experience across Golang, Node.js, TypeScript, React & AWS
- A lean towards backend development
- Ideally some experience with Kubernetes (nice to have)
- Background in a fast-paced or early-stage product business
- Ability to work autonomously across a variety of challenges
- A problem-solver who enjoys building effective, elegant solutions
- Happy working fully remote, though being based in the Southwest would be a bonus
