Senior Software Engineer (Node.js / TypeScript)

I’m partnering with a HealthTech scaleup on a mission to improve health outcomes globally. They’re building a platform that’s already making a huge impact and are now looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help shape the next stage of their technology.

You’ll work across design, product and engineering to build scalable backend systems that are high quality, secure and reliable. This suits someone who enjoys ownership, collaboration and bringing structure to fast-paced environments while keeping a product mindset.

What you’ll be doing

• Designing, building and maintaining backend systems and APIs

• Collaborating across teams to deliver high-impact features

• Continuously improving quality, security and reliability

• Using AI tools to speed up development and delivery

• Always challenging if the team is building the right things

What they’re looking for

• 4+ years of backend engineering experience

• Strong knowledge of Node.js, TypeScript and REST APIs

• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases

• Interest or experience with healthcare data formats

• Enjoys working in a fast-changing environment and taking ownership

• Passionate about building meaningful technology
