A fast-growing, venture-backed startup is looking for a Senior or Lead React Native Engineer to take full ownership of their mobile app, the primary interface for patients during some of the most important moments of their lives.
This is an opportunity to drive technical decisions, write production code, and build something that truly matters. The company is bringing mobile development fully in-house and looking for someone ready to lead from day one.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Own the React Native codebase and oversee deployment to both iOS and Android.
- Make key architectural and technical decisions, this is your domain.
- Collaborate with product/design and help shape the user experience.
- Set engineering best practices and help build a small, empowered tech team.
What they’re looking for:
- 5+ years of experience building and shipping applications
- Deep expertise in React Native and TypeScript
- Strong experience with app store deployment (iOS & Android)
- Previous leadership experience or ownership of mobile delivery
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with Node.js, GraphQL, AWS
- Experience in healthcare or regulated industries
- Interest in leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity
