Senior MLOps Engineer London (2x week on site) Up to £110,000 + bonus First MLOps hire within an established AI function at a London based AI startup. Opportunity for the role to progress into a team/tech lead position in the next 12-18 months. Revenue generating with Series A raised earlier this year. I’m looking for an experienced Senior/Lead MLOps Engineer to join an exciting NLP based startup in London. This is a role that offers a lot of scope for progression. Having established the core AI team throughout 2024 the business now has enough models going into production to justify hiring a standalone MLOps Engineer. There are plans in place to continue scaling the AI team in 2025 which includes an additional couple of MLOps Engineers. For this reason, I’m only looking to speak with people who are senior enough to head up the newly formed MLOps team. You’ll need to have a strong production background, can work autonomously and be experienced enough to offer strategic input and opinions on how to scale the platform and team. Essentials: Excellent Python programming skills. Experience designing and building ML infrastructure/platforms. Solid grasp of MLOps best practices. Model deployment on AWS preferable but open to other cloud platform backgrounds. Graph database knowledge – Neo4j etc NLP background is preferable. An understanding of knowledge graphs and, or experience working with agentic systems is a big bonus. With offices in central London, this company operates a hybrid working policy with two days a week required in the office. Of course, you’re welcome to go in as often as you like. We’re looking to have someone secured for the role this side of Christmas but I’m more than happy to speak with people with a 3 month notice period. Unfortunately, sponsorship is not available for this role.
