We are seeking a skilled SAP S/4HANA Security Consultant to support the design, implementation, and optimisation of security controls within SAP S/4HANA environments. You will work across business and technical teams to deliver secure, compliant and audit-ready SAP landscapes, ensuring alignment with enterprise security policies and industry best practice. This role will be key in identifying risks, designing robust access models, and advising on compliance with security frameworks and governance processes within SAP environments, particularly in relation to role design, authorisations, segregation of duties (SoD), and audit.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement security architecture and authorisation concepts for SAP S/4HANA systems.
- Define and manage user roles, authorisations and access controls across SAP modules.
- Perform risk assessments, resolve Segregation of Duties (SoD) conflicts, and design mitigating controls.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure security is embedded throughout SAP project delivery.
- Support security testing, audits, and compliance activities including policy alignment (e.g. ISO 27001, SOX).
- Provide guidance on identity and access management (IAM) within SAP environments, including integration with external IAM tools where required.
- Create documentation and provide training or knowledge transfer to relevant stakeholders.
