What you’ll do:
- Manage and mentor a team of five systems engineers working on UAV integration.
- Guide their development while keeping close to the engineering yourself, spending around 40% of your time on design and testing.
- Design, develop and integrate complex avionics systems including control, navigation, communication and C2 systems.
- Assess subsystem failures and their impact, ensuring systems stay reliable under pressure.
- Create user and maintenance documentation, giving you experience across the full product lifecycle.
What you’ll need:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to support and guide other engineers.
- Experience designing, developing and testing complex electrical, electronic or software-based systems.
- Hands-on integration experience using hardware rigs to bring systems together.
