This isn’t a “sit in the corner and write code” role. This is for someone who wants to be close to real systems, real hardware, and real-world impact. We’re working with a growing engineering-led business developing advanced robotic / autonomous systems, and they’re looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join the team onsite in Salisbury.
What you’ll be doing:
- Working across the full lifecycle of embedded software development, including:
- Developing low-level embedded software (C/C++) for robotic platforms
- Working closely with hardware and systems engineers to bring up and integrate systems
- Contributing to real-world deployment, testing and iteration
- Supporting development across control systems, sensors & interfacing, and system-level behaviour
This is a hands-on role, where you’ll see what you build actually working in the field.
