A defence transformation programme is looking for an experienced Entity Manager to lead organisational change across multiple engineering businesses.
In this position you will line manage a Technical Architect and Delivery Lead focusing on IT Infrastructure across several entities within Defence. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders to understand how each business operates, identify operational challenges, prioritise improvement activity and coordinate specialist resources where they're needed most. This is a hands-on transformation role requiring someone comfortable entering complex environments, establishing structure and driving delivery improvements.
You'll ideally have experience with:
- Senior IT roles overseeing digital, infrastructure, cloud, and cyber operations.
- Strong understanding of Azure platforms, architecture, identity, governance, and security.
- Proven ability to guide, challenge, and collaborate with outsourced IT providers.
- Broad understanding of networking, infrastructure, and enterprise technologies.
- Experience in multi-customer, multi-classification, secure environments.
- Experience in cybersecurity, NIST frameworks, and assurance processes.
- Experience leading teams and managing vendors.
- SC Clearance (or eligible).
Contract Details:
- ~£700–750/day
- ~Outside IR35
- ~Initial 6-month contract
- ~Travel across Berkshire, Wiltshire and Surrey
- ~Active SC Clearance or eligibility required
You will travel between 3 sites - in Wiltshire, Berkshire and Surrey.
