We’re looking for an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Manager to lead supportability and sustainment planning across a high-profile defence digital programme. This role is focused on ensuring delivered capability is fully supportable, sustainable, and aligned to operational requirements, embedding ILS considerations from design through to in-service transition. You’ll act as the senior logistics authority within the project, working across engineering, commercial, and operational teams while advising senior stakeholders on supportability risk and strategy.
Skills & Experience:
- Essential:
- Strong experience in ILS / supportability within defence or complex engineering programmes
- Deep understanding of MoD logistics and through-life support principles
- Experience developing ILS artefacts (maintenance, spares, training, etc.)
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and suppliers
- Experience integrating ILS across engineering, commercial, and delivery teams
- Strong awareness of cost, operational need, and sustainment risk
- Comfortable operating in military-facing, governance-heavy environments
- SC Clearance (active or eligible)
- Experience working within Defence Digital or similar programmes
- Exposure to transition into service / in-service support environments
- Background in complex systems integration or large-scale programmes
