This is about one thing: Making sure capability actually works long-term. You’ll take ownership of Integrated Logistics Support for a major MOD programme, ensuring what’s being delivered is supportable, sustainable and affordable from day one. You’ll sit between engineering, MOD and delivery - shaping how the system is supported throughout its lifecycle.

You’ll be:

  • Owning and driving the ILS strategy across the programme
  • Defining support concepts, maintenance, spares and training approaches
  • Influencing stakeholders on cost, risk and sustainment decisions
  • Ensuring suppliers deliver against supportability requirements

This isn’t a “follow the process” role. You’ll be expected to shape the strategy in a messy, evolving environment.

You’ll need:

  • Strong background in ILS / supportability within Defence
  • Deep understanding of MOD logistics and through-life support
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders and suppliers
  • Ability to operate without perfect structure or clarity
