SR2 are supporting a growing fintech as they enter an exciting year for the business, with some major milestones ahead and plenty of opportunity to make a real impact. They're a technology led fintech where identity sits at the heart of how they protect their people, systems and products.

As an IAM Engineer, you'll take ownership of identity and access management across the organisation, covering access management, privileged access and identity governance. You'll act as the technical subject matter expert across the Microsoft Entra ecosystem, designing, implementing and continuously improving identity services across cloud, SaaS and on premises environments. You'll play a key role in turning identity strategy into secure, scalable controls that strengthen the security posture of a regulated financial institution.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Engineering and continuously improving identity and access management services in line with business, security and regulatory requirements.
  • Delivering and supporting secure access management capabilities across Microsoft Entra ID, SSO, federation, MFA, Conditional Access and directory services.
  • Developing and maintaining identity governance capabilities, including automated lifecycle management, access reviews and role based access controls.
  • Monitoring, maintaining and optimising identity platforms, responding to incidents and driving continuous improvements across security and service delivery.
  • Acting as the go to technical IAM expert across the organisation, providing guidance, championing best practice and supporting the wider security engineering function.

About You

  • Strong expertise across the Microsoft Entra ecosystem, including Entra ID, Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management, Identity Protection and Identity Governance.
  • Hands on experience delivering access management, PAM and identity governance solutions.
  • A solid understanding of modern identity technologies, including SSO, federation and directory services.
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and identity led security controls.
  • Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph is desirable.
  • Relevant certifications such as SC 300, SC 100, AZ 500, CISSP or equivalent are a plus, but your mindset and approach are what matter most.
