Salary: £100,000 p.a. (+ double-figure commission % on TCV - £250,000 OTE, uncapped)
Our client is a fast-growing applied AI start-up that specialises in enterprise grade RAG systems, knowledge orchestration, and agentic workflows. Their platform helps large organisations use their data more effectively through advanced retrieval augmented generation, intelligent automation, and high accuracy decision support. They are well funded and scaling their commercial function, and this is the first sales hire in the team.
They are now looking for an experienced consultative hunter who can drive top-down enterprise sales across financial services and wider regulated sectors.
What you will do:
- Own the full enterprise sales cycle with a focus on C-suite engagement (10-18 months).
- Lead a top-down GTM strategy and position applied AI solutions to senior decision makers in financial institutions.
- Sell RAG based solutions, agentic workflows, and AI automation platforms into large organisations.
- Work closely with the CEO and CRO to shape commercial strategy, influence product direction and make strategic commercial hiring plans.
What you bring:
- Proven experience selling RAG driven enterprise solutions, ideally into finance or other complex regulated environments.
- 5+ years in enterprise solution sales with a track record of closing significant deal sizes end-to-end sales cycles.
- A strong understanding of agentic AI workflows and the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
- Confidence communicating with C suite stakeholders and speaking the language of financial services decision makers.
- Experience selling AI agents or automation platforms into financial institutions.
- Technical background/deep understanding is highly valuable. Background in Sales Engineering/Pre-Sales technical consulting desirable.
Compensation:
- Basic salary of £100,000 - £115,000 p.a. (D.O.E.)
- Commission structure is being defined/will be defined with the correct hire, with an expectation of double-figure % of total contract value. Due to their revenue, our client is forecasting £250,000 OTE.
- Equity through an ESOP scheme, available after a 3-year vesting period.
Interview process:
- 1st stage video call with the CEO and CRO
- 2nd stage in person meeting in London with both leaders
