Overview
SR2 is looking for a skilled Frontend Developer with strong Node.js, Fastify and Typescript experience to join a digital programme for a government department. This role is about building user-facing web applications, ensuring high performance, usability, and reliability. You’ll work across templating, frontend testing, and containerised environments, helping to deliver a seamless experience to end users.
Tech: Node / Fastify / TypeScript / Playwright / Nunjucks / Docker
Experience required:
- Building and maintaining web applications using Node.js, Fastify, and TypeScript.
- Delivering frontend functionality with templating (e.g. Nunjucks) and integration into backend services.
- Writing robust end-to-end tests with Playwright to ensure a smooth user experience.
- Working in containerised environments (Docker) to develop, test, and deploy services.
- Collaborating with designers, architects, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Experience in government and knowledge of GDS principles
