We are looking for a Senior Integration Architect to complete a short assessment for a pharmaceutical organisation. The client needs to determine whether its current point-to-point API integrations remain suitable or whether it requires a shared integration layer or hybrid approach.
You will:
- Review the existing applications, APIs, interfaces and data flows.
- Identify critical dependencies, operational risks and manual workarounds.
- Assess scalability, resilience, maintainability and supportability.
- Consider pharmaceutical data, quality and regulatory requirements.
- Compare point-to-point, integration-platform and hybrid options.
- Recommend a target approach, priorities and practical roadmap.
- Present the findings to senior stakeholders.
Essential experience:
- Senior integration architecture or consulting experience.
- Previous pharmaceutical-sector experience.
- Strong knowledge of APIs, middleware and integration platforms.
- Experience assessing current-state and target-state integration architecture.
- Understanding of regulated data, traceability and audit requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive-level communication skills.
The consultant must provide an independent, technology-neutral recommendation rather than assume that a new integration platform is required.
