Are you an Account Manager who thrives at the intersection of client relationships, delivery excellence and commercial oversight? SR2 is supporting a small consultancy who specialise in the heart of the UK government and defence sectors. As Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role across complex digital programmes, acting as the trusted link between clients and delivery teams. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll shape long-term client relationships while ensuring contracts, services and outcomes are delivered to an exceptional standard.

  • Build trusted client relationships across complex digital programmes, ensuring expectations are clear and consistently met.
  • Oversee commercial and contractual performance, tracking KPIs, SLAs, budgets and delivery burn rate.
  • Manage delivery risk, scope changes, resourcing challenges and escalation points.
  • Lead governance and service reviews, providing clear reporting, insight and action tracking.
  • Support contract and change control activities, including subcontract management.
  • Drive continuous improvement, using stakeholder feedback to influence service and delivery enhancements.
  • Contribute to bids and proposals, providing delivery insight, resourcing estimates and relationship intelligence.
  • Maintain visibility of capability demand, supporting recruitment and internal coordination.

You’ll bring experience managing complex client relationships in commercial or contract-led environments, ideally within Defence, government or another regulated sector.
