The Engineering Manager for this discipline owns the technical direction of those capabilities, with a strong lean towards Hardware Design; Peopl It's a role for someone who still has strong technical opinions, but has learned that the highest-leverage thing they can do is build a team that doesn't need them for every decision.

You'll set standards, run design reviews, own partnerships and sub-contracts, and make sure what gets built is safe, compliant, and actually works.
