SR2 are currently looking for a Platform Support Engineer for a start-up organisation in the financial services space.

Location: Central London based (3 days a week onsite).

Role & Responsibilities:

  • As the Platform Support Engineer, you will play a key role in managing, maintaining and supporting the AWS and Office platforms.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and systems through automation.
  • Implement security measures and perform regular audits.
  • Manage user accounts and access controls.
  • Perform system updates and patches.
  • Manage/build containerised platforms independently or as a cluster.
  • Monitor container performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Container orchestration management/support.
  • Configure and maintain firewalls, switches, etc.
  • Support the infrastructure operationally.
  • Resolve support requests logged via the Helpdesk system.
  • Ensure that all projects have a robust requirements-gathering process that allows all technical areas to be involved.
