SR2 are currently looking for a Platform Support Engineer for a start-up organisation in the financial services space.
Location: Central London based (3 days a week onsite).
Role & Responsibilities:
- As the Platform Support Engineer, you will play a key role in managing, maintaining and supporting the AWS and Office platforms.
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and systems through automation.
- Implement security measures and perform regular audits.
- Manage user accounts and access controls.
- Perform system updates and patches.
- Manage/build containerised platforms independently or as a cluster.
- Monitor container performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Container orchestration management/support.
- Configure and maintain firewalls, switches, etc.
- Support the infrastructure operationally.
- Resolve support requests logged via the Helpdesk system.
- Ensure that all projects have a robust requirements-gathering process that allows all technical areas to be involved.
