Structured content, complex transformations, and high-impact output – this is your space.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a highly structured, XML-heavy environment and can wield XSLT and XSL-FO like a pro. If the idea of transforming technical content into beautifully formatted, publish-ready documents makes your eyes light up – keep reading.
You’ll join a tight-knit team focused on enabling large-scale content transformation and publishing workflows for clients in some of the most regulated industries in the world – including aviation. You’ll write, refine, and optimize stylesheets, troubleshoot thorny XML issues, and support both internal teams and external users as they deliver mission-critical documents.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and maintain XSLT stylesheets to transform XML into XSL-FO for PDF output
- Tackle format conversions and content prep using custom transformations and build tools
- Help refine and improve how technical publications are structured, styled, and published
- Support editors and authors using modern and legacy XML editing tools
- Collaborate closely with PMs, QA, and other devs in a fast-moving Agile setup
What You Bring:
- Deep experience writing XSLT (1.0/2.0) and generating XSL-FO (FOP, Antenna House, etc.)
- Solid understanding of XML, XPath, schemas, and structured authoring principles
- A problem-solver’s mindset – you’re not afraid of messy source files or legacy quirks
- (Bonus) Experience with DITA, aviation documentation, or tools like FrameMaker and Oxygen
Why This Role?
This isn’t just stylesheet tweaking – it’s high-stakes transformation work that helps teams operate safely and efficiently. You’ll get to work on meaningful projects, alongside a collaborative team that values clarity, curiosity, and doing things the right way.
We’re remote-first, people-first, and ready for someone who knows their way around structured data and loves turning complexity into clarity.
