We are currently recruiting for a number of Duty Technicians to support a highly secure government environment within a long-term programme of work.

This is a hands-on operational support role working within a close-knit technical team, supporting live systems, users, and operational infrastructure in a secure environment. The role involves incident management, technical troubleshooting, hardware support, and coordination with wider engineering and delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handling incoming technical support incidents, requests, and changes
  • Managing support queues and progressing tickets through to resolution
  • Troubleshooting issues ranging from password resets to server-related queries
  • Escalating complex issues to 3rd line support teams where required
  • Supporting software builds and rebuilds on laptops and PCs
  • Diagnosing hardware faults and carrying out upgrades
  • Working closely with engineering, development, and project teams
  • Maintaining strong communication with users throughout incident resolution
Essential Experience
  • Previous experience within a technical support / service desk environment
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability
  • Comfortable working within a shift-based operational support environment
  • Experience supporting users and systems within secure or regulated environments
  • Active transferable SC and NPPV3 clearance
  • 5 years continuous UK residency

This role is fully on-site and requires candidates comfortable working rotating day and night shifts.
