Senior IT Service Manager - SC Cleared
We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Service Manager / Service Delivery Manager to support a major government technology environment.
You will take responsibility for the effective delivery and ongoing management of live IT services, working across internal teams, suppliers and technical stakeholders to ensure services are stable, secure, well governed and continually improving.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day delivery and performance of live IT services.
- Work closely with infrastructure, security, architecture and engineering teams.
- Manage service performance against agreed SLAs, KPIs and operational targets.
- Coordinate incident, problem, change and service improvement activity.
- Lead regular service reviews with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Support major incident management and ensure appropriate follow-up and root cause activity.
- Manage dependencies across multiple suppliers and technical teams.
- Support the transition of new or changed services into live operations.
Essential Experience
- Active SC clearance.
- Strong experience as a Senior IT Service Manager, Service Delivery Manager or similar within a complex technology environment.
- Strong understanding of IT service management, including incident, problem, change and continual service improvement.
- Experience working across multidisciplinary technical teams and third-party suppliers.
- Strong stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience managing service performance, risks, dependencies and operational issues.
