Senior Business Analyst - Commercial Lines Technology & Workflow
£420-£450 per day | Inside IR35 | London or Horsham | 2-3 days onsite per week
SR2 is partnering with an exciting insurance client on a major Commercial Lines Technology & Workflow transformation programme, and we're looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join the programme.
Previous insurance industry experience is essential for this role.
The programme
You'll be working on a significant transformation of the Commercial Lines underwriting journey, looking at technology, processes and workflows from initial data ingestion and broker submissions through to underwriting and quotation.
The programme covers:
- Commercial Lines technology and workflow transformation
- Data ingestion and broker submissions
- Underwriting processes and journeys
- Quotation criteria and associated workflows
- Connecting processes and value streams across a complex transformation programme
- Transformation through to the point of Policy Administration System (PAS) submission
What we're looking for
You'll need to be a highly experienced Senior BA who is comfortable taking ownership and getting into the detail.
Essential experience:
- Strong insurance industry experience
- Significant experience as a Senior Business Analyst
- Strong background delivering complex technology change and transformation
- Excellent senior stakeholder management skills
- Experience working with Director-level stakeholders
- Experience working alongside third-party suppliers and technology partners
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and ceremonies
- Ability to lead and take ownership of individual workstreams
- Strong requirements gathering, process and workflow analysis skills
- A proactive, self-starting approach
- Ability to work independently, use initiative and drive delivery forward
Experience within Commercial Lines insurance would be particularly relevant, especially exposure to:
- Underwriting and underwriting technology
- Broker submissions
- Underwriting workflows
- Policy Administration Systems (PAS)
- Commercial insurance transformation
Location & working arrangements
- You’ll be assigned to either the London or Horsham office
- You’ll be expected onsite 2-3 days per week
- There may be occasions when you’ll be required to travel to the other office
- Additional travel between the assigned and alternative office will be expensable
