We are supporting a major organisation undergoing a significant transformation of its enterprise data platform. This platform underpins analytics, personalisation, experimentation, and real-time insights across multiple high-traffic digital products. The programme focuses on modernising data ingestion, streaming, and real-time processing capabilities to deliver reliable, scalable data at enterprise scale.
This role sits at executive level and offers genuine ownership over strategy, roadmap, and delivery for a critical data platform used across the organisation.
As Executive Product Manager, you will lead the product management function for the Enterprise Data Platform. You will define the long-term vision, align multiple product squads, and partner closely with senior engineering and data leaders to ensure the platform delivers measurable value. This is a hands-on, high-agency role suited to someone comfortable operating in complex, ambiguous environments.
Key Responsibilities- Own and deliver the vision and roadmap for an enterprise-scale data platform
- Lead and coach a team of Product Managers aligned to shared outcomes
- Partner with engineering leadership to ensure scalability, reliability, security, and cost efficiency
- Translate organisational needs into clear product outcomes across:
- Analytics
- Personalisation
- Experimentation
- Data transformation
- Senior product management experience across complex technical or platform products
- Proven ability to lead, coach, or line-manage Product Managers
- Strong background delivering data platforms or highly technical products
- Comfortable making decisions in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
- Strong technical literacy across:
- Modern data platforms
- Event-driven architectures
- Streaming data pipelines
- Agile and iterative product delivery environments
- Data governance and compliance in large or complex organisations
- Experience working within empowered, cross-functional product teams
- Familiarity with prioritisation frameworks (Impact vs Effort, ICE, Kano, etc.)
- Exposure to data platform modernisation programmes
- Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Experience working closely with cloud provider engineering teams
- Background in organisations with strong product cultures
