SR2 is working with a leading Financial Services Client on a greenfield digital platform build. This is a genuine opportunity to shape architecture from the ground up, not a maintenance or migration project, but a new product built with the right people from the start.
You will own the AEM architecture end-to-end, working closely with product, engineering and business stakeholders to ensure the platform is scalable, performant and future-proof from day one.
What you will be doing:
- Designing and owning the AEM architecture including component model, content structure, integration patterns and cloud deployment strategy
- Leading integration of AEM with Adobe Experience Cloud - Analytics, Target and DAM, and third-party platforms
- Defining technical standards and development best practices for the wider engineering team
- Acting as senior technical authority in stakeholder discussions, translating architectural decisions into business language
- Ensuring the platform meets regulatory and security requirements for a regulated financial services environment
What we are looking for:
- 8 or more years of AEM experience, at least 3 as Architect or Lead Developer, you have designed and delivered, not just contributed
- Deep expertise across AEM Sites and DAM, with hands-on AEM as a Cloud Service or Adobe Managed Services experience
- Strong Java and OSGi/Apache Sling fundamentals and experience with modern frontend frameworks alongside AEM, React, Angular or Vue.js
- Excellent client-facing communication skills, this role involves senior stakeholder engagement from day one
- Financial services or regulated industry experience is a strong advantage
- Adobe Certified Expert certification and Edge Delivery Services experience are desirable
