We are supporting an exciting consultancy who are on the lookout for a Generative AI specialist to help shape and deliver next-generation AI capabilities within a large-scale enterprise environment. This is a unique opportunity for a technically strong and research-driven Data Scientist to lead the design, deployment, and optimisation of production-grade GenAI systems.
The successful candidate will work across cutting-edge AI initiatives including LLM development, RAG architectures, AI safety, model monitoring, and responsible AI frameworks. The role combines hands-on engineering with strategic technical leadership, offering significant influence over enterprise AI direction and innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deploy scalable Generative AI and LLM-based solutions
- Develop RAG architectures and advanced prompt engineering frameworks
- Lead Responsible AI initiatives including bias detection and governance frameworks
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to translate AI research into business value
- Drive experimentation, model optimisation, and production readiness across AI platforms
- Strong commercial experience within Data Science, Machine Learning, or Generative AI roles
- Deep understanding of LLMs, transformer architectures, and modern NLP techniques
- Experience building and deploying RAG-based applications
- Expertise in prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and AI safety methodologies
- Strong Python development skills with experience using frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, or LangChain
