We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to support the development, automation and ongoing operation of a large-scale core cloud platform within a major UK government environment. The role will sit within a highly technical cloud engineering function responsible for building secure, resilient and scalable platform services used by multiple digital delivery teams. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is comfortable working in complex, security-conscious environments and can contribute quickly within an established cloud platform team.
Key responsibilities
- Build, maintain and improve cloud infrastructure within AWS.
- Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Support the deployment and operation of Kubernetes-based platform services.
- Create and maintain automation tooling using Python.
- Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.

- Strong commercial experience working as a DevOps, Platform or Cloud Engineer.
