£450 p/d inside IR35 | Long-term Onsite in Leicester or Hursley | 5 days per week onsite

We are recruiting an SC-cleared Windows System Administrator to join a wider engineering team supporting a large, multi-year programme within a secure, operationally critical public sector environment. The role will support a cross-functional project team, with a focus on Windows configuration, systems management, SCCM packaging and SCOM activity.

This is a fully onsite role based in either Leicester or Hursley, suited to someone comfortable working in a structured engineering environment where reliability, resilience and service continuity are key.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Windows systems administration support across a secure programme environment
  • Configure, maintain and troubleshoot Windows-based systems
  • Support software packaging activity using SCCM
  • Work with Microsoft System Center tooling
  • Support and manage SCOM activity across the environment
  • Contribute to Windows Server build activity where required
  • Work closely with engineers and wider project stakeholders
  • Help maintain operational stability across the Windows estate
Key Experience
  • Strong Windows system administration experience
  • Proficient in Windows configuration and troubleshooting
  • Understanding of software packaging in SCCM
  • Knowledge of Microsoft System Centre
  • Familiarity managing SCOM
  • PowerShell scripting experience would be beneficial
  • Familiarity with Windows Server builds would be beneficial
  • Must have 5 years' unbroken UK residency
  • Must hold BPSS and SC. Must either hold NPPV3 or be willing to undergo
