We are looking for an early-career Security Architect with strong technical instincts and a proactive mindset to help shape secure solutions across digital services. Working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, you will provide practical security guidance, contribute to the design of secure systems, and help ensure risks are appropriately identified, communicated, and mitigated.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with foundational architecture or security experience looking to deepen their skill set within a high-profile public sector programme.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Designing secure system architectures that balance business objectives with risk
- Advising delivery teams on security best practice throughout the development lifecycle
- Supporting the development of reusable security architecture patterns
- Reviewing technical solutions and offering constructive security input
- Communicating risk and security concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Active SC clearance (NPPV3 clearance is highly advantageous)
- Experience applying structured analysis to solve real-world security challenges
- Understanding of key security concepts, technologies, and architecture principles
- Ability to communicate technical issues clearly and confidently to varied audiences
- Knowledge of risk methodologies and how to apply them proportionately
- Comfortable working collaboratively across delivery teams and stakeholders
- Familiarity with designing or reviewing solutions for cloud, legacy, or hybrid environments
