Data Analyst - POLE V2 - SC Cleared
We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to support a large-scale central government data and analytics programme.
The role will focus on analysing complex operational datasets, with a particular requirement for experience working with POLE V2 data.
Due to the nature of the roles, active SC clearance is required.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse and profile complex datasets.
- Work with POLE V2 datasets and data structures.
- Use SQL to interrogate data, identify trends and investigate data-quality issues.
- Support data mapping, validation and transformation requirements.
- Investigate anomalies and support root cause analysis.
- Define and document data requirements.
- Work closely with Data Engineers, Architects and delivery teams.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
- Support improvements to data quality, lineage and usability.
Essential experience
- Strong experience with POLE V2 datasets / data model.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Data profiling and data-quality analysis.
- Data mapping and transformation.
- Working with large, complex datasets.
- Translating business requirements into analytical outputs.
- Strong stakeholder communication.
