Product Designer

Bristol | Hybrid | £40,000-£60,000 | Full-time

SR2 is partnering with a fast‑growing technology business that is building an intelligent software platform for organisations looking to improve how they manage customer interactions and commercial operations.

We're looking for a Product Designer who enjoys turning complex, loosely defined problems into clear, practical and scalable solutions.

What you'll be doing

• Own design challenges from initial discovery through to implementation

• Turn ambiguous requirements into structured design approaches

• Design user journeys, workflows, interaction models and interface patterns

• Work across customer‑facing products and internal systems

• Identify edge cases, failure states and potential user misunderstandings

• Partner closely with engineering to create robust, technically realistic solutions

• Explain design decisions, trade‑offs and rationale clearly

• Contribute to shared design systems, principles and reusable patterns

• Use AI tools to support research, exploration, prototyping and production

• Help shape how the wider team uses AI within the design process

What we're looking for

• At least three years of product, UX or UI design experience

• Confidence working with incomplete or evolving requirements

• Strong UX and UI judgement across flows, states and system behaviour

• The ability to balance user needs, technical constraints and commercial goals

• Experience structuring complex problems and taking ownership of outcomes

• A systems‑thinking approach rather than a focus on individual screens

• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills

• Experience collaborating closely with engineers

• Practical experience using AI tools to improve the speed or quality of design work

Particularly relevant experience

• Designing complex, technical or workflow‑heavy software

• Creating interaction patterns, interface systems or design systems

• Working in a scaling product or technology environment

• Exposure to AI‑enabled products, automation or data‑informed design

• Introducing new tools or processes that improved design delivery
