SR2 Consulting is supporting a number of high-profile central government digital programmes and is seeking experienced User Researchers to join multidisciplinary delivery teams on a contract basis. These roles sit within large-scale transformation initiatives focused on improving digital services used by citizens and internal users across the UK. Successful candidates will play a key role in shaping user-centred services that are accessible, inclusive and aligned with agile delivery principles.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, design and conduct user research activities across Discovery, Alpha, Beta and Live phases
- Select and apply appropriate qualitative and quantitative research methods
- Work collaboratively within agile, multidisciplinary teams including Product, Design and Engineering
- Synthesize research findings into clear, actionable insights
- Communicate evidence effectively to stakeholders at all levels, influencing product and service decisions
- Champion accessibility and inclusive design principles throughout the research process
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end user research within digital service environments
- Experience working in agile teams on iterative product or service development
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Demonstrable understanding of inclusive research practices and accessibility standards
- Experience working within UK Government or to GDS standards
