The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 £ per year.

SR2 are partnering with a consultancy to support the delivery of critical energy infrastructure programmes and are looking for 2 Business Analysts to join on an initial 3-month contract with strong extension potential. This is an opportunity to work within complex Energy Transmission environments, supporting operational improvement initiatives, outage management programmes and stakeholder-led transformation projects across the UK energy sector.

Location: Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen or Inverness - 3 days a week onsite. Hybrid working available depending on project requirements.

Initial 3-month contract

Strong likelihood of extension

SC Clearance required

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Engage directly with senior stakeholders across transmission operations and business functions
  • Facilitate workshops and requirements gathering sessions
  • Analyse and document business, operational and system requirements
  • Map and optimise complex 'As-Is' and 'To-Be' business processes
  • Support outage management activities from incident identification through to reporting
  • Translate technical utility and network concepts into actionable business requirements
  • Produce high-quality documentation and management information
  • Drive process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven Business Analyst experience within Energy Transmission Networks
  • Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills
  • Experience gathering and documenting business and system requirements
  • Process mapping experience (BPMN desirable)
  • Understanding of transmission operations and network environments
  • Experience working within fast-paced project environments
  • Ability to challenge constructively and influence senior stakeholders
  • Outage Management Systems (OMS)
  • GIS platforms
  • SAP EAM systems
  • Utility operations and infrastructure programmes
