SR Plumbing is recruiting a Gas Engineer to support domestic gas and heating work across Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. This is a general domestic gas role covering boiler installations, boiler servicing, gas safety appointments, CP12s and related heating work. Boiler repair and breakdown experience is useful, but the role is not limited to breakdown work.
Responsibilities
- Complete domestic gas work including appliance checks, gas safety visits and general heating appointments.
- Install boilers and related heating controls to a safe, professional standard.
- Carry out boiler servicing and planned gas maintenance work.
- Complete CP12s and required gas paperwork accurately.
- Identify unsafe situations and follow the correct Gas Safe procedures.
- Explain completed work clearly to customers.
- Keep job records up to date for each appointment.
Requirements
- Current Gas Safe registration for domestic gas work.
- Domestic gas qualifications covering boilers and common gas appliances.
- Experience with boiler installations, servicing and gas safety checks.
- Good understanding of domestic heating systems and controls.
- Full UK driving licence.
- A tidy, reliable and customer-conscious way of working.
Desirable experience
- Boiler repair and breakdown experience.
- Confidence working across common domestic boiler brands.
- Experience with heating controls, radiators and system balancing.
- Previous CP12 and landlord maintenance visit experience.
