Healthcare Assistants / Support Workers Needed – Peterborough, Eastern England

SR Careers is urgently seeking 10+ Agency Healthcare Assistants.

Pay: £12.71 per hour (Day shifts, Monday to Sunday)

About the Role: You will play a vital role in delivering high‑quality care and support, ensuring service users are safe, comfortable, and treated with dignity at all times.

Key Duties:

  • Providing personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
  • Supporting mobility and safe moving & handling
  • Assisting with meals and hydration
  • Monitoring and documenting basic observations
  • Maintaining clean and safe clinical environments
  • Reporting any changes in condition to nursing staff
  • Adhering to infection control and safeguarding policies

Requirements (Essential):

  • Full CV with no unexplained gaps
  • Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • National Insurance number
  • Minimum 6 months UK experience as an HCA/Support Worker
  • Police Clearance Certificate (if applicable)
  • Valid Passport / Visa / BRP
  • Two proofs of address
  • Two professional references (covering 5 years)
  • Valid mandatory training certificates (theory & practical)
