We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and driven individual to join our Apprenticeship Delivery team as a Skills Coach (Tutor/Assessor) delivering Management up to level 5. Whether you are a qualified tutor/Skills Coach or are looking to move into the education sector, SR Apprenticeships can support and develop you to achieve your goals.

The role will involve:

  • Manage a caseload of learners and support them to achieve their apprenticeship, as well as any additional requirements such as a professional qualification through to Gateway and successful End Point Assessment.
  • Supporting apprentices remotely to provide teaching through workshops, coaching, and assessment via a virtual learning platform.
  • Completing 12 weekly reviews with both learners and the learners\’ line managers.
  • Establishing positive working relationships with clients.
  • Communicating and articulating constructive feedback at all levels.
  • Facilitating the enhancement of work performance, self-directed learning, and personal development.
  • Supporting with Maths and English.
  • Being quick to problem solve and produce solutions to any learning or development barriers.
  • Challenging and developing apprentice’s skills and abilities to enable them to achieve the best performance results.
  • Tracking and reporting progress of planned learning to achieve end-point assessment.
  • Providing observational and specific feedback, encouraging the apprentice to self-assess their performance and readiness for achievement.
  • Identifying and supporting learners with additional learning needs and liaising with the learner welfare team to support this.
  • Taking responsibility to ensure Safeguarding, PREVENT, British Values, Health, Safety and Wellbeing, and equality, diversity, and inclusion are promoted and monitored continually in all areas of the job role.
  • Supporting all apprentices in their career planning and next steps.

About You:

  • Desirable assessor Award CAVA or TAQA Level 3, A1, D32/33 or equivalent.
  • Teaching Qualification, PTLLS or equivalent is desirable.
  • Level 5 ILM diploma/Certificate is desirable or significant sector experience.
  • Driving licence and access to a car essential.
