General Manager – BERMUDA! Point of Sale, Payment & ATM Technology. USD, Only 7-9% Tax
Our client is a boutique reseller of advanced technology for the hospitality, retail and financial sectors in beautiful and balmy Bermuda! On their behalf, we are seeking a General Manager to be responsible for the overall operations of the company, achievement of the annual operating plan, and optimizing shareholder value. Relocation to beautiful Bermuda is required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans: working closely with the Directors to define the overall strategy and tactical necessities to operate and grow the business.
- Full P/(L) control: Understanding and executing pipeline, forecasting, and revenue projections.
- Continually identifying, evaluating and implementing improvements to the business and revenue/profits.
- Maintain positive relationships with customers and perform regular site visits.
- Hire, train, motivate and monitor suitable candidates to perform all field work.
- Set goals, evaluate and motivate a small team of techs, sales and admin staff.
- Provide regular reports to the Shareholders on the operations of the business. Identify and communicate business risks and opportunities.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline.
- Demonstrable experience as a Manager with P/(L) responsibility.
- Previous experience with services organizations for Point-of-Sale (POS Systems), Payment Applications, ATMs or related technologies.
- Outstanding leadership, verbal and written communications, and interpersonal skills.
Candidates must be highly portable, have outside interests that lend themselves to Bermuda’s amazing sub-tropical lifestyle, and be in a great position to relocate to the Island for a minimum of three to five years.
