The predicted salary is between 25000 - 32000 £ per year.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide professional support to the Buying Team, acting with discretion and confidentiality at all times. You will work closely with the Purchasing Director, Leisure and Plant Buyers to co-ordinate all Buying Administration functions from beginning to end.
Rota: Full time, 40 hours
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Maintain price files, internet and EPOS stock/price file
- Maintain promotional configurations, ensuring correct application of promotions and Point of Sale
- Raise orders on our EPOS system from confirmations sent from suppliers
- Place orders on behalf of the Buyers when requested
- Liaise with Managers and employees at the centres to support them in serving our customers
- Liaise with external businesses and suppliers to access information and answer questions
- Maintain filing in an organised and timely manner
- Organise internal and external meetings for Buyers and co-ordinate diaries and schedules where applicable
- Make travel and hotel bookings on behalf of the buyers
- Open new accounts and complete paperwork detail for Buyers and Accounts
- Compile documents in accordance with Buyers requests
- Maintain efficient filing systems
- In the absence of the PD ensure that any urgent correspondence, calls or emails are passed to a Director
- Deal with all incoming telephone calls and enquiries in a professional manner
- Assist with other routine administration tasks as and when required by the Buying Team
- Prepare confidential letters and reports on behalf of the Buyers
- Prepare various documents using PowerPoint, Word and Excel on behalf of the Buying Team

- Proven experience of working in an administration role, ideally within a retail environment
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Organisational skills, and are self-disciplined with a positive, collaborative attitude
