You will be supporting the Financial Services practice group providing secretarial and administration support. You will report to the London office Secretarial Services Manager and work alongside Partners, Associates and other Secretaries. Occasionally you may be expected to support other teams as required.
Our thriving London office is looking for a Legal Secretary to join the Financial Services Practice Group. We need an organised, professional individual with a 'can do' attitude who is willing to go that extra mile to help colleagues at all times. This role is ideal for an experienced legal secretary, preferably in Financial Services/Banking, who has supported partner‑level staff and is ready to progress their career.
Key Responsibilities- Manage heavy and complex billing tasks and reports, including finalising and sending out bills.
- Handle client and matter inceptions and ensure compliance with KYC requirements.
- Diary management, event support and arranging international travel.
- Assist other departments when required, using initiative and spotting where help is needed with limited supervision.
- Organised, proactive and able to prioritise and juggle workloads.
- Experience of supporting at secretarial/PA level within a professional service firm.
- Experience in complex billing, client inceptions and working in a law firm, preferably with Financial Services/Banking exposure.
- Knowledge of Aderant is preferable.
- Experience working with multi‑jurisdictional teams and familiarity with time zones.
- Good knowledge of all Microsoft packages and strong keyboard skills.
- Positive, can‑do and professional attitude towards clients and the firm.
