Our global L&E team serves a range of employers from small start‑ups to listed multinationals, across a broad spread of sectors and encompassing a wide spectrum of businesses, from professional services companies to financial institutions.

This team has seen sustained revenue growth over recent years, with increasing significant and complex mandates combined with strong demand from clients in the UK and internationally. We work on large (often cross‑jurisdictional) matters where you will be a valuable part of a global client team with front‑line client exposure. From day one, you will advise on a wide range of contentious employment law matters, providing an exceptional service to our clients.

You will be a qualified solicitor under the laws of England and Wales, with between eight and twelve years’ PQE. Self‑motivation and the ability to deliver high‑quality work are essential. You will have excellent academics and be adept at handling a broad spectrum of complex employment litigation matters. You will be intellectually curious and enjoy resolving challenging legal issues. Experienced in delegating to and managing the work of junior associates and trainees, you will also have a keen interest in business development, including cross‑selling between the different practice areas of the firm. You should expect lots of client contact, and a rewarding and challenging career path – all of which come with a role in this team at Squire Patton Boggs.
