Our Team
Our UK HR team consists of our core generalist HR function (responsible for our UK fee earners, support staff and secretarial staff populations), Learning & Development, Emerging Talent, Projects, Payroll and Rewards & Benefits, and lateral Recruitment.
Our Opportunity
You will be responsible for managing and co-ordinating the firm\’s Emerging Talent recruitment campaigns; including candidate attraction, selection, and on-boarding for both our apprentice and graduate programmes.
With support from our Emerging Talent Assistant, you will review applications for our Emerging Talent schemes, organise and run selection events e.g assessment centres, manage the candidate de-brief meetings with interview panels, as well as take responsibility for the offer process, including providing feedback to unsuccessful applicants.
You will be instrumental in developing new ideas for candidate attraction and recruitment across our different schemes, and will work closely with our social media team to produce relevant, engaging, and appropriate content.
You
We work in a busy and fast paced environment which requires someone who is a confident and motivated self-starter, as well as someone who is highly organised and able to manage a varied workload with multiple deadlines whilst maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
You will have experience managing large-scale recruitment processes, ideally within a law firm or other professional services environment, whilst also managing other recruitment events and schemes. You will have experience of, or ideas to, develop and deliver our emerging talent acquisition strategy.
You will need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders at all levels. Using your networking skills you will build relationships with candidates as well as connections with institutions, other emerging talent groups and to keep up to date with the latest trends in emerging talent.
Although the role will be based in any of our Birmingham, Leeds or Manchester offices, travel to all our UK locations will be required.
It is essential you have experience using online recruitment portals and an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
