Overview
The team advises a broad range of clients from large multinationals to fast-growing UK companies across multiple sectors, including information technology, automotive, aerospace, advanced manufacturing and more. With a strong domestic and international presence, the team supports clients in achieving their international ambitions through strategic and commercial advice. Collaboration across UK and international offices is essential, working closely with IP & T teams in London, Leeds, Manchester, Dublin and globally, as well as with other specialist teams such as communications, competition, construction, cyber security, energy and financial services.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for major team projects, both standalone commercial/technology assignments and corporate finance due diligence.
- Manage your own caseload of standalone work and research tasks.
- Play an active role in team and firm-wide professional development and business-development initiatives.
- Deliver high-quality client service and support the team’s culture of leadership and client engagement.
- Collaborate across the UK and international offices, leveraging wider expertise and cross-office matters.
- Contribute to the advancement of niche practice areas aligned with your interests.
Qualifications
- Qualified solicitor under the laws of England and Wales (0-5 years PQE).
- Experience working in one or more of the sectors and work types outlined above.
- Passion for law combined with a commercial mindset.
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong technical legal and drafting skills.
- Initiative, while knowing when to seek guidance and supervision.
- Confident use of technology in day-to-day work.
