Senior Fire & Security Engineer East Midlands (occasional national travel) | £40,000–£45,000 OTE | Company van, standby pay & travel allowance
Are you a Fire & Security Engineer who's ready to step up, to be the person the team turns to, not just another name on the rota?
We're a growing, well-respected fire and security company with a reputation for doing things properly.
As we expand, we're looking for an experienced Senior Engineer to join us, someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys variety, and wants to help shape a team rather than just clock in and out.
You'll work across a genuinely varied portfolio, Intruder Alarms, Fire systems, Fire Extinguishers, CCTV and Access Control, carrying out small installation works alongside servicing and maintenance.
As one of our senior engineers, you'll also be the go-to for the wider team: mentoring, sharing know-how, and helping less experienced colleagues grow, both on-site and over the phone.
- What you'll get
- £40,000–£45,000 OTE, plus standby pay, travel allowance and call-out opportunities
- Company van, tablet and mobile phone, and all test equipment supplied
- 28 days' holiday (including bank holidays)
- A supportive, multi-skilled team that backs each other up
- Real scope to progress in a company that's growing and invests in its people
What we're looking for
- Around 3 years' hands-on experience across Fire, Intruder Alarm, CCTV and Access Control, installing, servicing and fault-finding
- Someone who enjoys mentoring and bringing colleagues up to speed
- A full UK driving licence
- Strong fault-finding, problem-solving and customer service skills
- ECS/CSCS and IPAF, and experience with an NSI Gold accredited company, are a bonus, but not dealbreakers
- Happy to travel nationally now and then
If you're ambitious, adaptable and want to build your career somewhere your expertise is genuinely valued, we'd love to hear from you.
