SquareTrade is the fastest growing partner in the global device protection market and we work with many of the world’s largest operators, retailers and manufacturers. Our obsession with putting the customer first, from our transparent T&Cs to our better products, always available online claim filing and our flexible resolution options, are all underpinned by our exceptional team. This is the secret behind how we’ve continued to shake up the industry. We are the ones transforming a “bad” service category into something that empowers people to take care of the things that keep life running smoothly. Together, we’re united by the same end goal: to completely change what people expect from an insurance plan.
We now protect over 140 million devices globally and work across Europe, with partners including Apple, T-Mobile and Telenor. We have been first to market with a number of key innovations, including fully-digital claims, choice of resolution option, next day exchange and same-day services via local and on-site repair. Our European ambition continues to grow as we step into new sectors including B2B, CE insurance and trade in products.
We are looking for a commercially minded Growth Manager to drive programme performance across one of our core European markets. This role is about shaping how our programme is executed in the market: influencing partner stakeholders, diagnosing problems, and improving performance through the strength of your relationships and market knowledge. This candidate will be based in-market, reporting into the Account Manager based in SquareTrade HQ London.
You’ll be the face of SquareTrade in the market and the voice of the market within SquareTrade, credible at all levels, from HQ to Stores. You’ll be part relationship-builder, part performance-driver, and part problem-solver. You’ll own the planning and execution of SquareTrade’s programme in the market and act as a key feedback loop for our central teams in HQ, and you’ll need to influence internal stakeholders by surfacing market insight and helping shape future propositions. This is a role with real impact, combining practical execution, commercial insight, and strategic influence. We are looking for someone with strong self-direction, relationship skills, a deep understanding of how consumer and retail businesses work, and a genuine drive to improve commercial and customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the day-to-day owner of the performance execution between SquareTrade and the partner(s).
- Manage the weekly relationships, delivering for the partner and supporting them in their needs.
- Use analytical skills to understand the trends of the business, where the opportunities are, and what needs to be done to address them.
- Ensure the operational excellence of the account by working with the Ops team (CS, CX and Supply Chain) to report on performance and ensure we are providing the best service to the customer.
- Build and maintain impactful relationships with the partner’s HQ and retail teams.
- Drive performance of sales and cancellations and take proactive steps to drive growth or reverse challenging performance.
- Represent SquareTrade within your territory attending relevant partner meetings.
- Ensure compliant sales behaviour across partner stores by monitoring training completion and evaluating compliance MI scores.
- Coordinate product launches across in-store, online, and partner communication channels.
- Track, report, and create actionable insight from KPIs across attach rate, early cancellations, training, and mystery shopping.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in local market language and professional working proficiency in English.
- Experience in client management, retail, or commercial execution roles.
- Able to build credibility at all levels, from store floor to senior stakeholders.
- Organised, self-starting, and comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-changing environment.
- Preferable experience of working in a heavily regulated environment.
- Valid driving license.
This role is based in market but will require significant internal travel to partner locations along with monthly international travel to SquareTrade HQ in London.
