The Market Data team provides market data services to users across the firm. We work closely with exchanges, vendors, and stakeholders to implement live market data connectivity for trading and historical market data for research.
As part of the newly established Market Data Integration team, we are looking for experienced project managers to own delivery of market data projects, including technical scoping, identification of dependencies, and complete project lifecycle management.
- Manage delivery of strategic initiatives within the market data space, owning projects from start to finish.
- Work closely with developers and stakeholders on technical scoping of new projects.
- Write and review technical documentation such as exchange specifications, migration plans, and production runbooks.
- Own migrations from legacy platforms.
- Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders, clearly identifying and resolving blockers.
- Engage with users to provide knowledge and serve as the Subject Matter Expert on market data products.
- Manage communication with external vendors, exchanges, and providers to push forward the interests of the firm.
- Identify efficiency gaps on the team and work diligently to resolve them.
- Own and update the Jira team kanban boards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject.
- Stellar communication skills, both verbal and written, and comfortable interacting directly with stakeholders.
- Ability to clearly articulate concepts in both a technical and non-technical manner.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
- 1-3 years of technical project management experience preferred.
Nice to have
- Experience with market data vendors (Reuters, Bloomberg).
- Proficiency in Python or C++.
- Proficiency in Linux OS.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Financial knowledge across various asset classes.
