Integration projects team plays a crucial role in the analysis, planning, and coordination of upgrades, rollouts, and decommission across the firm’s trading, research, and UX’s front-to-back workflows. As an integral member of the team, you will collaborate closely with a wide range of technology teams and quantitative researchers, offering you the opportunity to gain a deep understanding of technology architecture, business operations, and to develop your project management and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project manage large scale firm wide roll outs of applications and infrastructure, user migrations from legacy to newer systems, high impact changes.
- Project manage business/external driven requirements requiring cross team coordination.
- Act as liaison between technology teams, business users and external parties during various stages of application and infrastructure delivery for in-scope projects.
- Increase transparency for stakeholders by maintaining quality project tracking documentation and regular communication.
- Use of scripting/automations for project impact assessment and data collection for migration tracking dashboards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related subject.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of software/hardware/network concepts, software development life cycle and processes around them.
- Proficient in Linux OS.
- Proficiency with Bash and any scripting language such as Python or Perl.
- Experience in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL).
- Experience with the Atlassian stack (JIRA, Service Desk, Confluence).
Nice to have:
- Project management experience.
- Exposure to reporting tools like Tableau Dashboard, Grafana.
