Squarepoint is looking for recent graduates who are hoping to kickstart their financial technology careers in a global team of exceptional Application support specialists. You will leverage your technical expertise, analytical mindset, and curiosity about financial markets to help ensure the stability, performance, and resilience of critical trading applications.

Working at the heart of the production environment, you will monitor and support services within the full trade lifecycle across a sophisticated global trading platform, partnering closely with traders, quants, developers, and infrastructure teams to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement. This role offers the opportunity to define and enhance operational processes, lead the onboarding of new trading services, and take ownership of production support for business-critical systems. You will be empowered to identify opportunities for automation, improve system reliability, and contribute directly to the efficiency and scalability of our trading operations.

Required Qualifications:
  • Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline
  • Working knowledge of at least one of: Python, Bash
  • Knowledge of Linux
  • General knowledge of database technologies
  • Exceptional communication skills, attention to detail and ability to work within a global team
  • Eagerness to continuously learn new technologies and develop with us

The minimum base salary for this role is $100,000 if located in New York. This expectation is based on available information at the time of posting. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses, which could constitute a significant portion of total compensation. This role may also be eligible for benefits, such as health, dental, and other wellness plans, as well as 401(k) contributions. Successful candidates’ compensation and benefits will be determined in consideration of various factors.
